    Classic Romantic

You all know by now that I'm not one for anything too wild in the style department but this Friday, I found myself rocking a double breasted blazer, white pleated skirt and a grey t-shirt. Three colours in one outfit is something new I tried but I loved it. It had a touch of Parisian flavour, which is what I aim for basically every day that I am not wearing all black. Also, this was the first time I wore my new double breasted blazer. I wanted something classic yet nice, something that would take me from day to night but won't feel too short, too tight or similar.

Coincidentally it was also the first time I properly wore these Sam Edelman sandals. When I say proper, I mean apart from walking around my house, testing how they sound on different floors, keeping them on to gauge comfort level, even if it's for hours, right? I really can not even bring myself to think what would happen if they get scratched or the heel breaks, as they are a special piece in my collection.

Speaking of investment pieces, I feel like this outfit is just asking for my CHANEL Wallet on a Chain  to be pulled out. It just pairs with the whole look quite nicely and I'm still as in love with it as the day I purchased it. Watch-wide, I only have one and its the Daniel Wellington Classic Collection in York. It does the job of looking elegant and minimalist but without the expensive price tag.

This little outfit combination is one that I've been cracking out a lot recently in different forms. The white skirt is a comfortable elastic-waist skirt (I'm afraid I can't find the exact link, but I got it in-store at Zara in August) that is the right material to feel casual, yet dressy enough if needed. I wore them a lot in the summer with flowery blouses, but I love them best with this Forever 21 t-shirt. A grey t-shirt looks amazing with a navy cardigan or blazer. Try this combination out and see the number of outfits that look better when you add grey clothing. Also, this t-shirt washes well and I foresee this becoming a bit of a wardrobe staple for cooler months.

Sunset by the river valley is something really special. The golden hour and just that moment when sun starts coming closer to the trees looks beautiful. Living by the river valleys its perks. To celebrate one month anniversary of being a hobbyist fashion blogger I drove to this place yesterday to shoot look for you guys. The key piece of this look is this pleated white skirt from Zara. The look still remained pretty casual chic, as the pleated skirt has the boho vibe, but you can also style it with A-line navy skirt for work.
